Learn the skills needed to prevent, recognize and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illnesses until advanced medical personnel arrive.  This course covers American Red Cross First Aid and Adult/Child CPR/AED in an approach that complements adult learning styles, featuring hands-on practice and real-life scenarios.  Useful take home course materials help you retain skills and serve as an excellent refresher and reference tool after training is completed. 

Certification is valid for two years.

The Girl Scout Bronze Award is the highest award a Girl Scout Junior can receive.  This training will provide girls with the current 2009 GSUSA requirements.  The prerequisite before beginning a Girl Scout Bronze Award project is to have completed one adult-guided Girl Scout Junior Journey including the Take Action project.
